Requirement Summary :

The client wanted to provide the property buyers,sellers and agents with a platform to showcase their property,search for properties and communicate with one another to make the right property deal . They wanted their customers to have an online real estate listing and communication software that is very easy to use – with easy property listing post with images and video, quick ,interactive maps and advanced property search, quick and easy internal communication system .Another important requirement was to provide them with a site administration panel that would be incredibly easy to set up and administer .

The real estate software solution

The solution that we provided covered the following aspects of his business:

• User Signup: Single user account can be used to buy and/or sell/rent properties. Users can sign up as a Property Owner, Real Estate Agent, Developer Investor, and Property Seeker. For a limited time only, (during Beta testing) we will offer users the ability to list their property absolutely free of charge whether it is for rent or sale.
  
  Property Owners - will be able to post a limited amount of listings at no cost.
  
  Real Estate Agents and Developer Investor(s) - will be able to list an unlimited amount of listings. A per listing fee is to be applied. A Branding feature will also be offered. The fees and the period can be set up by site administrator.
• Package/Payment Management

The admin will have full flexibility setting up the packages and control them via (Space, Bandwidth, Price, Video Limit and Period).

• Top 10 Lists : There will be provision to display a Top 10 Lists section by links in a list type format by most expensive properties, highest rent properties, most popular properties.
• FAQ/Help : There will be a provision to create a help/FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section and the site administrator can control this section.
• Online Payment : There will be provision to collect membership fees from members. The payment method will be PayPal .
• Users can upload one (1) video for each listing : Community features:

• Country Chooser : There will be a provision to browse properties through an interactive MAP. The map will show a world map and clicking on a continent will show the countries of that continent. Clicking on a country will take the user to the property-listing page of that country this feature will be developed using AJAX.
• Location or Listing ID and Advanced Search / Country Index Search: This feature is to be under the Country Chooser Map this feature will offer advanced search using the following:

• Category and Type
• Location
• Price Range
• Parameters

• Photos : Photos are to be displayed professionally using an Open Source PHP Photo Gallery System. Users will be able to sort what photos are to be displayed first.
• Articles : Visitors can submit articles and these articles will be published in the site after the moderators review and approve them. The subjects of these articles are to be related to real estate, overseas living, vacation purposes, and more. The article can be a country guide, a guide to buying real estate in a certain region, or about the region itself. A user can describe their experience of moving to another country or any type of information that can be of use to visitors. The purpose of the articles section is to provide a way for the users to enrich the content of the site. These articles can be tagged with the locations (country, state, and city) and can be served as additional information for resource for the locations. All submitted articles are subject to user comments and rating. The most interesting articles will be rewarded.
• Admin Control Panel
• Membership Management: site administrator can change the fees of the website and can change the FREE usage period (which is during the special offer "Launch" phase initially).
• Members Management: Site administrator will be able to block/unblock/edit/delete any members account. Administrator will be able to create/delete moderators or sub admin with restricted permissions.
• Listing Management: Site administrator will be able to view all the listings and he can block the listings or permanently delete them.
• FAQ/Help Management: the site administrator can manage The FAQ section.
• Articles Management: Provision to publish articles and tag them with locations.

Requirement Summary :

The client , a highly reputed real estate company was looking for a unique legal document management solution for real estate deals as well as marking areas on the map that has been purchased or sold. They solution they wanted was to be entirely automated ,with a single easy-to-use data entry interface which would generate multiple documents like deeds of conveyance, affidavits, declarations and mutation applications in MS Word in a prescribed format for legal documents as well as generation of map indicators to indicate that the land has been procured or sold.

The Challenge :

The project posed a lot of critical challenges being an out of the box solution. As the resultant documents had to be grammatically correct word documents ,there had to be an intelligent language parser that would assimilate the entered data into grammatically correct sentences before putting them into the specified templates. Another big challenge was to read and modify .DXF (Autocad) files programmatically depending on user input.

The Solution :

The provided solution was amazingly easy to use , with simple entry wizard with guidance , a language processor with built in taggers and language rule processors to generate grammatically correct sentences and a uniquely developed DXF processor that were used to read and modify the area maps and mark them. Visual status indicators and document template creators helped the operators and administrators to set new document templates and processing rules –in a nutshell , the provided solution reduced the clients time almost by 45% in processing fresh realty deals.
